Image Description

I used a piece of 1/8th inch thick by 3 inch wide aluminum to overlap my hatch onto the sidewalls. I used a piece of awning rail for trim at the bottom of the hatch, and 1/8th by 1 inch aluminum to cover and secure the plastic hinge at the top.
