Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I'm thinking about removing some of the side wall 1" square tube structure to accommodate a pull-out under the galley cabinet for a cooler. This structure seems a little overbuilt and I suspect it will miss any strength. The exterior wall will be 0.050" 6061 aluminum, and the interior will have plywood (maybe 1'4") aside from the pullout, of course.
