Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

This is my family in 1963. I am 2 years old. We are on our way from California to Iowa (a yearly trip) with my father, mother, grandmother, 4 year old brother and myself. My grandma slept outside on a cot. My brother and I slept on a shelf over my parent's feet. When my sister was born 5 years later we started camping in Volkswagen vans instead. This was a home built Benroy style teardrop.
