This shows the construction of the top hatch. I love Gorilla Glue! Fit is not so critical. It hardens fully in a couple hours. This hatch turned to splinters when I moved the trailer without attending to the stick that was holding the lid up. So I reworked the design a little and paid careful attention to handling the hatch.
