This is a middle iteration of hatch linkage design. I want to be able to open the two piece hatch by simply lifting the rear part and not have to manage which one is hinging so far when. I also don't want to have to deploy struts to hold the hatch up or to release the struts while supporting the weight of the hatch at the same time. This try worked, sort of. The rear hatch does not open far enough when fully opened. The initial movement when opening was cumbersome.
