Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Cut down the T handle shaft so it was no longer than the hatch frame depth. I cut a piece of aluminum bar and drilled three holes in it, one I filed square to match the T handle shaft. Then used washers on either side with a threaded collar on the end to hold it all together. There is another picture of a close up of this assembly.
Turning the handle turns the aluminum which pulls the cable that pulls the door thingy in to unlatch the hatch.
