OK, dumb question about I Pass. If you "subscribe", does it work for multiple states? Billing you for total tolls, but sending the payments to the separate states? It seems that a lot of states have the same name for their toll
service, so it would be easier if there was one system.
Where do you get the I Pass? At a toll booth, or online!

Welcone Dan and Suzi and yes Verna your Ipass will be good in Illinois. Actually I have driven all the way to Maine on my Ipass and it was good all the way.

Ipass is available at any Illinois Jewel/Osco store or on line. I'm not sure if you can purchase at a toll booth. Your Indiana version of Ipass should also work in most states.

Thanks, Gary, I just found that out. I don 't currently have an I-Pass, but it looks like I should get one.

Dan,

Getting through Milwaukee is is much easier. Milwaukee has been redoing it's freeways so that all exits go to the right. The section that you and Verna will be traveling on is now basically done. The next phase of the program will involve the freeway on the west side of town and the redoing of what we call the zoo interchange. That is where all the confusion will start shortly. City officials did not want both sides of town blocked at the same time so you should be traveling on a nice new confusion free 6 lanes going up to Sheboygan.

verna the I pass works like this and I use the I pass ill not the Indiana I zoom I pass works in more states
its all dune through your credit card
when u get your I pass they put 50$ in your account witch they use as u go through the toll system. when u get down to a set amount
they hit your card up for another 50$
I have had my I pass for 10 years and have not made a mistake as of yet
on the I pass and you never see a bill just a invoice on your toll use

Thanks, Dan and Gary.

I'll get the I-Pass before I head that way. (It says allow 6 weeks to get the transponder.) I think it's nice that it can be used in other states. It makes sense that they do that, especially for the trucking companies.

I should also point out that you are not restricted to just one transponder per account. I personally have three transponders on my one account. Each additional transponder costs a one time fee of $10. With several cars I don't have to remember to switch one transponder from car to car. It's a convenience thing.

Also the new transponders are about half the size of the older ones.

The last month of the year is almost upon us and I thought I would share something I tried for this last month. This past month has been Movember which originally was something started by a small group of guys who recognized the problem prostrate cancer is for men in particular. They were inspired by what women were doing with the Susan B. Kolman breast canceer awareness program. To show that recognition they all grew mustaches. Today Movember has become "No Shave November". It continues to recognize the problem of prostrate cancer but also addresses other health issues for men such as the fact that men are four times more likely than women to commit suicide.

The guys on television's Today Show; Al, Matt, Willy and other male staff joined in recognizing the issues facing men today. Men being slightly more sedentary then women who go out and run for their cause as we decided to not shave for a month.

This was my effort.

No one will be seeing this look at "Cooler" as I can not wait for December 1st which I now call "Shave it all below the ears December".

Actually, it looks pretty good on you!. You sure you want to shave it? There is sort of a resemblance to Al Borland of Tool Time Fame. I have seen you with a small hammer and I think you could pull it off.
