Lucky number 13 (at least it's lucky for those of us born on the 13th) now puts us past 50% of last year's total trailers. This 13th trailer is also lucky for our group as Bob brews some of the best home made beer in Wisconsin.



I'm already thirsty.

Just counted up the days (112), and the weeks (16), to this year's CNTL Can't wait to get the tear out of the garage and back on the road. WooooHoooo!!!

Checking the parks camping reservations map for our date I see there are now seven camping sites reserved by campers who may or may not be a part of our group. We are currently 13 trailers. Who is going to be next?

We are now 15 and that is the magic number in which I will contact the park and make sure that the shelter is also ours on Friday. Hopefully they will be good to us as they have done in the past and let us have it Thursday evening.
So anyone who is concerned about possible cold weather can relax as we will have a heated building for most if not all the time we are there. The flush toilets and showers are also in a heated building.

Verna now is the Cooler you should attend.

Just getting home from up north where we were celebrating Cheri's birthday. Received a nice surprise from Eileen and Steve (eklinkert) who will be attending their first gathering. They will be on site 20 with their two dogs. We are now 16 campers.

Welcome to our gathering I'm sure that it will be the first of many as it can become addicting.

Thanks for the birthday wishes .Had a great weekend at the lake with family.

Just got off the phone with the park and we have the shelter reserved for both Friday and Saturday. The park seemed receptive to giving us the keys again at closing time on Thursday so this means that we should have warmth from Thursday evening until Sunday morning. Cost is again $100 dollars per night so the shared cost of $200 gets lower with each new person who signs up. I want you to know that we received all kinds of compliments during my conversation. I was even told that the staff really looks forward to our event as they now see this as a sign that spring is here.

Good news Gary. I am really looking forward to getting out camping this year. Not really sure why this year more then others, maybe I am less tolerant of the cold weather.
