I'm not sure they ever really leaned how to drive in snow in the first place. They might slow down a little as the snow keeps coming but it is certainly not a natural born instinct.

Image trying to remember how to use turn signals and all the confusion that entails. Now try it in the snow.

Too bad the road crews can't salt the intersections (at least). :x

Jeff sent me an E-mail over the weekend

I tried to copy it but the gist is

A WINTER STATISTIC

98 % of all drivers say "OH sh**" just before slidding into the ditch.....

The other 2% are from Michigan and simply say " Here hold my beer and watch this ...........

We'll be snug inside the big tent. We'd for sure have to anchor it to a couple trucks as windy as it is.

This kind of weather makes us think of camping in the UP in October...never fails we get about 1 - 2 days of "gales" off of Superior! Tried to talk Lisa into tying the TD to the Ash in the back yard and "camping out" tonight....NO DEAL! 8) Guess we must wait till Jan!!! I suppose the Coleman would not work well anyway

Just an observation....this low is sitting over Alpena MI with a BP of 980mb! That's a pretty deep low pressure for something that is not "tropical"!

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Any one know if the stuff in the porta potty freezes.

I am thinking of making a foam canon mounted to the top of the car facing backward to hit tailgaters. Folks seem to totally forget following distance and seem to feel they have to enter yours.

Count me in as a thinking about it. Not sure about the Mrs. though. I figure if we're free from snow and the temps aren't *too* bad, I couldn't think of a better way to break up the winter blues than heading to a campground!

Eric says he'll help get the camper out of storage and we'll share it so looks like the Rolling Stone will be there I am so ready

So who all's thinking of coming, the more the merrier :applause:

I am sure it freezes, but you could use rv antifreeze for liquid to flush and should be fine. Or Apple Pie

APPLE PIE OH NO ! :x

For those unfamiliar with our beverage of choice at every shivaree we have had ........

http://www.recipezaar.com/Apple-Pie-75026

I subbed 1/2 brown sugar for the sugar and added 1/4 tsp of each nutmeg, ginger and clove. 5-6 cinnamon sticks if you have time to let it age (3-4 weeks) if not add powdered cinnimon 1/2 tsp

It is knock your socks off good warm just off of the fire even before the everclear is added.

OK back on topic I had a older mustang with a foot pump windshield washer might just mix the porta potty holding tank with a little rv antifreeze added that ougth to get rid of the tailgaters

A great way to get rid of black water liquid storage :rofl2:
