We would like to invite everyone to Shabbona Lake State Park ( near Dekalb ) June 6-9, 2013 to celebrate Doug's new hips. He is now walking with a cane and hopes to be hopping soon.

Merganser Loop --- I have reserved site #73 for Thursday , leaving Sunday. If you only can make Friday and Saturday, that is just fine!

This is a gathering that welcomes everyone. We don't care if to have a Tear drop or not. As long as you have a tent, trailer, pop up, or even a cool cardboard box. What ever you want to spend time in, you are welcome. This is a nice park on the Lake.

With all the events that happen in Moore OK, I will probably be heading out there and I hope I will be able to make it out on June 6th for the Hip Hop event. If I am unable to make it then I will let you know in advance. With being in the disaster response field my schedule always changes each day.

I will be attending the event this week I need the little break but I might get to the campsite prior to June 6th I am going to be leaving to head out there tomorrow June 4th. I need a couple of days of rest. : )

If anyone wants to come sooner to the campsite let me know I will be there. Have any of you installed a water pump before I am getting a new water pump tomorrow morning and I don't have one yet but I am not the plumbing expert of how to hook up to make sure it all works the way it should. I want to have it where I can pump it out of the water tank and also be able to hook up the tankless water heater for the outside shower. If anyone wants to come early to help me install that or give me some pointers on that.

Glad to see you made it back Brian. There are several of us coming in Thursday early afternoon. As for the water pump, I have never done one but we have many handy guys coming. We should be able to get it going if you get stuck. Looks like we have a good crowd and it should make for a fun weekend.

It rain the last two days here and I am all setup at the park. Only problem I have is the electric site I have does not work I plug In and just pops circuit it worked fine two days ago but not since I been here so I am using 20 amp power for now due to cpap machine. The park is quiet the last two days but I see alot of people checking in tomorrow and Friday so it will be good to have company cya you tomorrow the lake is awesome here and the only spot where I have reception is by the camp store so I been walking alot.

Brian, we should have some arriving a little after noon. Did you report the electric problem to the park? You could always run to another site that no one is using so you have power.

Thank you all for a great weekend trip I had alot of fun and it was great seeing everyone again and also building new friendships as well.

Between you and the other great chefs we had in attendance I gained 5 pounds back from my diet.
