Haven't heard either if their friends are coming. 251 and 252 are open so if they do come, they only have to walk one more site over to 'visit'.

How are everyone's vintage outfits doing? Haven't hear any comments about it, so this is a reminder.

Visit http://tearuptheadk.com/notice.html for more about VINTAGE NIGHT.

If anyone would like to help out by contributing a prize, let us know.

We are working on our vintage outfit plans! Can't wait. After this weekend's gathering at Bowman Lake everyone is excited about Fish Creek Pond!

we're coming up from Delaware

Postby reddz » Wed May 21, 2008 7:37 pm

Hello Everyone,
We were told that site 232 was taken so we signed up for site 251 yesterday. We'll be in a motorcycle pop-up camper because "Joy" hasn't come together yet.

Ed collects milk crates and he's always looking for trades. If you have one from a local dairy that you'd like to trade bring it with you, he'll have some from here.

See you in June!

well, its official. we couldn't convince 1/2 of our friendly couple to come to the Tearup. I know, what kind of friends are they? :) Losers! hahaha.

anyway, we're arriving early on the wednesday and leaving on Saturday morning to our gig at L.L. Bean in Freeport, ME.

we're REALLY looking forward to the Tearup. It has been a butt-long winter/spring and it's time for some kick-back time. I just made a new batch of beer today and it will be bottled on the 10th, just in time!

See you all there!

Boomer- They'll probably show up this year- I think they have come to two of the Tear-Ups and they were also at the Tear -Down at Nicks Lake last fall. It would be nice if they stayed for the potluck.
Speaking of pot-luck... what does everyone plan on bringing? Diane and I will be bringing Potato Salad

Sorry I know nothing of any such 3 women! I am innocent!! LOL. By the way, you'll never get 4 women in your tear either!

Ranger Jane has been inviting everyone for months now.. I trust she has done her duty and we wil have some lurky lurkers show up for a peek! I have met a lot of people who know about the TearUp.. maybe not what it is all about, but certainly that they are a lotta little bitty trailers at Fish Creek mid June.

PS. I am desperately looking for a fedora for Vintage Night.. anybody gotta spare? Kate has her Vintage outfit, yet I am behind putting mine today... dang! Well at least I have an undershirt...

Pot Luck Contribution form us is Kate's famous POTATO SKINS!! (Goes well with potato salad ha ha!)

We didn't realize that they had been to other functions....they were so friendly & interested. Actually it was Mrs Boomer who posted the idea of inviting them back.....

Looks like we will be going up a day early to enjoy a bit longer stay (assuming its not pouring! LOL).

Looks like Chuck and Barb, Kurt (maybe Jeanie), and Al and Leslie are there early too. We should organize a pre-TearUp party on Wed night before all the riff raft come in! 8)

Dave, good news. It looks like it won't be "maybe Jeanie". It will be Jeanie for sure. :applause:

I have to get more books for her to read while we are there.

Not long now.
Bad news... we don't have any more wedding candles. Oh well, we won't have the spooky "light show" this year. :(

We are getting excited and the teardrop is pointed East.

Glad to hear Jeanie will be coming along Kurt! I hear there are a few remains of those candles on site 239, so maybe we can light them up again.. mind you, you upgraded to site 244 this year with the fancy firepit.

Are you two ready for 'Vintage Night'?
