Sparky,

I think that would be great. Even if it does not rain (and I sure hope it don't) it could be setup in a central location (Dave & Kate's site?) :D and used as a general gathering place all weekend.

Sounds great on the tent! Who are you Sparky?

We'll also have our Pahaque as well as the 'mothership' canopy just incase mother nature is naughty.

Our Yukon is FULLY loaded, ready to head over tommorrow for a night camping at FCP. We'll be over in Lake Placid for the week and back early next Thursday to setup all our camp crapola for the TearUP. Gad camping is getting more complicated!

So... is Steve still serving up fine waffles in the morning? :)

Pot luck first mentioned on page 3. Steve you mentioned a waffle stand on page 6 LOL

We were under the impression that we were having a pot luck, and there was mention of a large tent for it. What night? What time? I don't think was brought up. Couple of people want to do a canoe tour,so it would be helpfull to know what day ,anyway. The tour is open to the first day with sunshine{according to weather page ,Friday afternoon},back up day would be Saturday. Sunday we head home.

We are bringing 2 shoo fly pies, and pickeled red beet eggs{Amish country favorites, and our canoeing group favorites anyway}.

I would imagine the pot-luck is on Sat eve as usual. As stated before Diane and I are bringing Chicken Riggies.

I was hoping to be able to come up for at least the day...unfortunately, my mom has scheduled the graveside services for my dad (who died in March) for Saturday 6/16. I'll have family in from out of town for the weekend, or at least through late Saturday night/Sunday morning. No way to get away early enough Sunday to get up to FC and then back home in time for my 7a.m. workday start Monday morning.

I have been looking forward to FCP all winter. After Watkin's Glen, I can't wait to camp again, but it looks like I may not arrive until Sat morning. I have to supervise our school's moving up dance Friday until 8:30pm. That will make for a late night/early morning arrival at best. So, I just may try to drive up early Sat. I'll let everyone know. Now all I have to do is think of something for the potluck. More brownies? Or something else this time?
Happy Camping,
