Got home about 4:30pm today. I stopped in Rochester (NY) last night. Funny, I didn't see any rain today. weird

It was still a blast and a little rain didn't hurt any one. Drying out will be fun.

I enjoyed meeting new campers as well as seeing old friends.

I made the 4 hour drive back home on Sunday in full sun. It was a great time at FCP and am already looking forward to 2010. It was fun seeing old friends (or is that friends who are old? :) and meeting new ones too. The wine and cheese was big fun and I love my new flag. :)

Later!

Think I have the participants list as close to updated as I can get.. with what I have. If any of you have any photos of couples I am missing, pls send them along my way, as well as any corrections.

Was there a Janice on 217? Sorry.. my bad if I forgot.

We arrived home today at 4:30 (this time "pm", not "am"). We stopped halfway at Lackawanna State Park (PA) to break up the trip. It turned out to be a very nice park. Nancy and I thoroughly enjoyed FCP and meeting EVERYONE at Camp ADK. Special thanks to our hosts, Kate and Dave, for organizing a fantastic gathering. Also, a huge thanks to Ed and Becky for checking in on us during our late night voyage to FCP. We have already recorded several pages in our TD journal featuring lots of great memories from the weekend. What a great group of people, and awesome looking trailers. Thanks so much for your hospitality and friendly tours of your creations. We hope to see you soon at a gathering in the near future.

TheresaD actually started a thread in OT looking for remedies
Not sure how I managed to get away with just one lingering annoying mosquito bite.
I was also *very* glad that the Tear-Up mascot who was glued to Sly's spray listerine bottle preferred sucking down Listerine to going after human victims. That was one moth that shouldn't operate heavy equipment....

Dave: I think Janice canceled out some time ago because of recent knee surgery. Think I saw that posted somewhere awhile ago. I talked to the couple on 266 at our site, but don't remember their names. Also there was a Scamp trailer that showed up late that came because of the gathering. We only talked to them from the water while we were out with the kayaks. They were down past site 266 I believe. Had a great time meeting and talking to everyone, but there were so many people I can't remember all the names or what trailer they had. Probably missed a few. Bob

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making our first outing as great as it was. Nice to put a face to those internet connections. Looking forward to next year already. Thanks Dave and Kate for all the organizing work.

Hi fellow TearUp T-Shirt campers! I have posted our group photo on the CustomInk T-Shirt site (where we ordered the T-shirts this year), which gives us a great chance to win a $100 voucher for more T-shirts for next year!

What we need to win is YOUR VOTES! Simply go to the link below and rate it! (5 ink drops would be nice  ). We have a great chance since our group is quite large. Interesting how Kate is in the photo twice ha ha.

So get voting!

Nope.. just click on the blue ink drops to the right of the photo. Click on the farthest blue ink drop on the right to rate it as a '5' :-)

(Not it has a 'Rate it!' tag right beside the drops)

Hi everyone-this is Becky( aka Mrs Boomer)

We left Fish Creek on Monday morning with Pat & Ken & we drove to Robert Moses Park in Massena(not the one in Long Island :moom walk: ). We got to the Eisenhower Locks just in time to see a ship come thru-very cool!! We got to our sites, right along the shores of the St Lawrence Seaway & the sun came out & the sky was so blue!! We set up our wet screen houses, canopies, etc & they dried out quickly. It was a beautiful night on Monday(we had some VERY friendly raccoons visit us) & Tuesday was just as lovely.....We headed for home this morning(still sunny!!) & Pat & Ken headed west to meet up with Ed & Dianna & on to Boogie in the Hills!

We had a great time at ADK-the food drive was a huge success & we hope to tweak it a little more for next year-thank you everyone & we are so sorry for those of you that we missed....

Marc-hope you too all of my harassment in good fun!!! It was good fun, wasn't it??!!!!!

Dave & Kate=thanks for everything!!!!
