We're hoping to stop by Saturday and take a look at folks' TD's. I intend to build one in a year or two, and am gathering info at this stage. I'll see if the little woman would make something for the tailgate party. We'll bring the pick-up, it has a tailgate!

Enjoy folks,

Frank

Ed's backup hat!

Actually I don't even know what the story was behind those hats. I just remember have one put on my head. Maybe they were Rick's for all I know, and he had them stashed in his Metzendorf. Are they some sort of New Yorker Tailgating party prerequisite? I'm going to bring my own 'normal' hat this time around.

We are packing up tonight and will start or journey early tommorrow. Hoping to arrive at Moreau around noon if all goes well (and we don't get side tracked along the way).

Ditto Adam... I'll be watching the clock until the end of work on Thursday so that I can finish up my packing Thurs. night and head out Friday morning. I'll be watching the weather too... :rainy: It looked a bit iffy earlier in the week. I'm hoping we will be able to stay fairly dry. :worship: I'd like to be going right now!!

Weather as of today: From Thursday morning through Friday morning

An area of low pressure will move northward along a nearly stationary boundary along the East Coast. The low will bring abundant tropical moisture northward into the region. Rain will overspread the local area after midnight tonight and continue into Thursday night. The rain will come down heavy at times especially during the day Thursday. At this time... 2 to 4 inches of rainfall is expected with locally higher amounts
possible.

There is the potential for wind gusts exceeding 60 mph... especially across north south oriented valleys... as well as across higher elevations within the Taconics... Berkshires and Green Mountains. Heavier showers will further exacerbate the potential for damaging wind gusts.

Winds of this magnitude will have the potential to produce scattered to numerous power outages within the watch area.

Friday

Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning... then partly sunny in the afternoon. The high in the upper 60s. Northwest winds around 5 mph...increasing to around 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Friday Night and Saturday

Partly cloudy. The low in the mid 40s. The high in the lower 60s.

Saturday Night through Monday Night

Partly cloudy. The low in the upper 30s. The high in the upper 50s.
