We arrived home last evening. A lengthly two week trip, but what a terrific time! An outstanding location and terrific people. It was great to meet all of you. Hopefully we'll be back again.
On the way home we stopped at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Have a happy and safe summer.

Lenny & Joanne, Thanks for the friendships we developed being neighbors at FCP. The Adirondacks have an aura that is hard to duplicate. I can't wait to go back.

Hope to see you some time down the road.

Looks like Pat and I are the last ones home. What a great time we had and will sure do again. Ed gave us directions to take to Maine after FCP. He should be a tour guide what a great ride. Had the tear on a ferry ride. The ferry was only big enough to hold three cars I loved it. Then went to the tear meet in the Poconos. Ray was there too also met Lenny ,Arne, Gage just to name a few all great people. Thanks to all. I,m still grining. :)
Good day every day!

Hi Joseph,

Glad you made out ok in the end. Everyone missed you two this year, but hopefully you can make it up next time.

How about coming up to the Fall Teardown Sep 7-9th at Nike's Lake if you can?

Finally processed all the photos and posted them at

Just wanted to thank everyone for a wonderful time, cannot wait until next year!! We have never been to FCP what a beautiful spot. We want to thank Dave and Kathy for bring our boys tubing, they had a great time.

We have only had a chance to get thru half of the pictures, we only can get dial-up so it takes a while. :o

We are happy that Ed's rescue was well recorded, hopefully everyone will see it. LOL.

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful time. :D

Thanks. I'm not quite OK yet - I can't really sit upright for extended periods (like at work or here at the computer at home) but I'm getting better.

We missed everyone too! Next time is iffy because I plan to retire at the end of of that month. We'll see.

I'd love to but I can't - I have to be in Florida that Sunday.

Great pictures! Here's the link to Kate's Flickr album so you can see some of the work she did while she was here. She's always complaining that I'm hard to draw because I never stop moving so she took advantage of the fact that I slept a lot while recovering!

Wow, Kate, what a talent!!

Amazing what some people do so fluently while others struggle to write.

Beautiful stuff.

Great pictures Dave! Only one complaint{not really} but one in our group of pictures is actually Dennis & Darla{blue life vests in canoe}. Your photos really show what it's all about. We are still laughing about Kurt & the XL sticker{bragging?,the Ladies are smiling anyway}. Hope to see you all next year, and do it again.

"Little" do they know

What a great time and great pictures to help capture the fun. Bill, I'm still looking for a kayak that fits my needs (and price range). The kayak adventure on Saturday was really enjoyable. Thanks for all of the advise on choosing the "right" one. I like Al & Leslie's, but can't quite justify the price. Maybe next week, who knows?

Hi we just got back and thought we would take a moment to say that we had a great time. It was nice to see all the pictures . We had a real warm and welcome feeling over those few days we were all together. Hope that we can make it again.

I love the photos. They really catch the feeling of the gathering. How about those sunsets? And the pot luck? Good times. :applause:

As you can see from this article in Trailer Life Magazine, FCP is a beautiful yet understated camping area. :thumbsup:Image
