Coop, We'll take I-99 past Altoona, then get on 22 west to New Alexandria, then down 981 to the park.

Here is a link to a few photos I took at the Keystone Kampout at Latrobe, PA this weekend. It was fun! We met a lot of nice folks and got a bunch of ideas from each other's teardrops. Thanks to Len and Coop and all who organized and attended this outing!

Finally got to meet some of our Western Pa, Ohio and Michigan friends!

...And it was an International event as Gaston showed up from Quebec again (we don't know he does it but always a pleasure to see him) :D

Buckeye and Liberty Bell chapters Keystone Kampout

All I can say is WOW! What a great turnout we had 5 states, 2 countries, 13 trailers 7 campers w/o Tears And a whole lot of fun.

I'd like to thank my Co-sponsor Galen Neibarger of the Buckeye Chapter for all his hard work in making this happen.

I'd also like to thank my Assistant Director Rich Cooper, Ross & Carla Wade of the Southern Appalachian Chapter as well as everyone who traveled great distances to attend this event.

The new friends and fond memories that were made last weekend will last forever.

Thanks again.

Ahem-

Even though on Saturday the sounds of Drag Racing from 9am to 11pm?

Even though they found a body in the lake on Saturday morning?

Even ALL the road construction?

OH HECK YES  :applause:

Cheers,

Coop

PS- Yes it's all true!

Coop

Chip-

Ain't NO lie!

I wasn't even drinking (much) although Carla & Wendy did try to corrupt me

That was the THIRD body they found in that lake this year!

And yes Keystone Drag Strip less than 2 miles away was having:

Sep,15 2007 Regular Racing (All Classes Incl. TCR) & Door Jamz Plus Stock/Superstock
Gates Open 9 AM
Junior Time Trials 10 AM
All other classes Time Trials 1 PM
Eliminations start no earlier than 5 PM
Also Scout Day
and PRP Appreciation Day w/ Bonus Money!
Bracket Run-offs today
Scout Day brought to you by The Motorworks
Door Jamz brought to you by Schuler Services, Smith Trucking, Laurel Aggregates Inc., and Hemphill Racing Engines

So while it was NOISY some of the time AND yes they found that body in the Lake, WE still had a GREAT time :)

Cheers,

Coop

Yes indeedy, a very interesting weekend!!
I go to the races every Saturday so that noise didn't really even get my attention much, it was mild compared to what I am used to. :)

The wife and I both had a real good time, she even admitted to enjoying it so you might just see us again somewhere!!

Our thanks go out to everyone that set this up. Except for the rain Friday night it was a pretty good weekend weather wise. I like it cool myself!
