Well Kate and I are nearly packed! Think we have all the trailer thingies ready, including a new lighting system for the all important dock LOL.

Heading off on an Alaskian cruise tommorrow, back just in time to jump in the Yukon (not the state) and head down to the TearUp to enjoy more good times lake side with yah all on the following Wednesday !

See everyone there!

PS. Don't forget your swanky vintage camping outfits!

Dave & Kate, have a great time on the cruise (as if you wouldn't).

We are packing clothes and planning our meals this coming weekend.

Vintage night sounds like fun. One question though. How far back is "vintage". Heck we're vintage so I guess thing we did as 20 year olds (mid 60's) should qualify. Ehh?

Really getting excited to do our second gathering for he season. Our first TearJerkers gathering was a resounding success. Great weather, great friends, great people, great campground.

Looking forward to seing the "FCP" crowd again.

Kerry, my "XL" shrunk. I guess that happens with age.

I now have a new "TearJerkers" shirt (XL) as well as some various T-shirts to wear.

Can't wait to get there and enjoy Fish Creek Pond.

Darn shame you can't make it this year.

Good day from Seattle!

Kurt, 'vintage' could be anything 'way back'. I'm thinking 1930/40's myself... or even 1950's. I always laugh when younger friends talk about 'antique' or 'vintage' and mention the 60's.

It's just a fun night so just pick sometime way back and dress silly. Don't forget we are expecting you will find something that still has the 'XL' size marker on it... if not, an old price tag will do.

Dave- Are you saying the 1960 Metzendorf is not a vintage trailer? And by the way, the Metz is no longer for sale. We decided to keep it to avoid kicking ourselves in the ass later on! :phew:

No Rick... not trailers...forget I mentioned years.... silly me.. vintage is last year if thats what is 'historical' to you, and I guess I am dating myself now... 1960 IS a long long time ago! LOL

Glad you pulled your baby off the market... we were sad to think you would have parted with it.

Cheers

We made it to the Adirondacks Thursday. Camped and Meadowbrook CG over the weekend.

This week (June 1-8, we are working as volunteer campground hosts at the Adirondack Mountain Club Loj/Campground outside Lake Placid. Various bugs are around but somewhat spotty and very tolerable so far.

Will move on to Fish Creek Sunday June 8. Hope to see some more early birds arrive a few days early.
