Better hope the sites are the same, as they have varied from year to year. Dave usually makes an announcement in late October as to the exact dates and sites.

Thanks Rick,

OK Dave, any announcements (even though it's not late October)?

From the looks of the reserved camp sites in the 231 to 250 area, someone is planning on using FCP during the June 11-14 dates.

Hey looks like you guys/gals had a great TearDown! Nice shots. Wish we could have made it, but the fall is getting to be too busy for us.

Anyways I did update the TearUp site a while back.. doesn't anybody check there? LOL. ie http://tearuptheadk.com/

Yes dates are June 12-15, 2009. Off course many campers will be arriving earlier and/or staying after those dates. We plan on arriving around the 10th I think.

Everyone seems generally happy about that section.... good sun in the morning, close to paddling up Fish Creek itself, and being farther along into the campsite, we don't have too much of an issue booking 20-30 sites in a row (try that about a week later though! LOL).

We are already book on site 241 Arriving Wed June 10 till Mon June 15th, 2009.

I'll clean out the participants list shortly ( http://tearuptheadk.com/participants.html ) and start a new Tearup 2009 thread here as well.

Only a few more weeks left of camping of us! Camping at the Lake Placid KOA next week (plus Fish Creek maybe) and then Fish Creek for Columbus Day long weekend.

Cheers!

Dave, thanks for the update. I took a chance and reserved site #245 for June 9-14, 2009 so I guess I'm in the right section.

Have a good time during the fall camping season. I have one more gathering (Tearjerkers - Hoosier Chapter) scheduled in October and it's coming up fast.

Then we can hide away for the winter and get ready for spring.

I've cleared out the participants list from last year, and started to populate the 2009 event. See http://tearuptheadk.com/participants.html

If you were in love with your site last year, then you better hurry and book it before somebody else does! :o

As others reserve, post here (or in the new TearUp 2009 I'll start shortly).
Your name, when you arrive, when you depart, location and whatever you are bringing.. ie 1946 Modernistic, homebuild 6X12, Lovely Metzendorf, etc etc).

Cheers
