Knobels

Postby SIXTOTWO » Tue Aug 12, 2008 11:53 am

Hi,
Just wondering...our camper isn't quite built yet. We plan on going to Knobels on the 20th mainly to see your TD's. Are we going to be able to walk into the camping area to check them out if we're not camping there?
Thanks!

Susan-

Absolutely!

I would recommend parking as usual, enjoy the park & cross the footbridge besides the pool & close to the train bridge, hang a left and go down to the end into Texas Panhandle area.

Give me a rough idea of a time & I'll make a point of being there then.

Cheers,

Coop

We're coming!

Postby Robin Bobula » Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:55 pm

We don't have a teardrop/TTT yet, but we want to hang out with everyone. We'll be in Texas 3, which is reportedly close to the Panhandle area.

We'll be getting in later on Friday night. Hope to see you then, or on Saturday sometime. Can't wait to see all the teardrops!!

Thanks Coop for the tour of your Tear at Knoebels. It helped to answer some questions. Wish we could have met you all but we had a guest with us and she didn't feel good. bummer, we would have liked to spend time at the campfire!

When we left we went to start our car and it wouldn't, had to get it jumped. We almost thought we'd be spending the night with you guys in your builds. haha

See you at one of the next gatherings in the spring.

Great place for families! Check out all the pictures! If you don't like to cook there is the Alamo Restaurant for sit down eats, too.

I talked to the office before we left yesterday and the Texas Panhandle is all filled up SOOOOOO it looks like I will be taking T-4 T-6 or T-8 which are right at the entrance to the Panhandle T-6 is a platform site so prolly T-4 or T-8 I have to reserve it on the first (2 days) when my card has cash on it again. now lets HOPE I have at least one of these beasts done or I will be tenting it for that weekend. 8)
