Wow! More to add to the list... I'll get right on that.

We have been camping at the Whiteface KOA for a few nights with friends (hiking gang). Headed back through Lake Placid to stay at our place for a few nights to enjoy the fall colors (in peak right now). Headed left off of main street and what do we see? Al and Leslie with their tear going in the opposite direction down the hill! We tried to whip around the back streets to catch up to them, to no avail.

So Al and Leslie, when you get back on here... sorry to have missed you! Not sure if you had been camping at Fish Creek and leaving for another destination. Would have been nice to meet up though.

Likely only going to be camping once more this season (Columbus Day weekend)

Mary :)

Hi Mary,

Are you sure its 254? I checked Reserve America and it shows 254 is booked starting June 8 onwards, not the 6th.

Cheers

Kurt (Indiana) wrote:SlyTerry, are you talking about the infamous "Jawbone" from the "Bean Blossom Blues festival" in Indiana? This is a long shot, but how many "Jawbones" can there be.

If so, I know him and you need to talk him in to coming along. Bring the harmonicas too.

Yes he's the "one and only Jawbone" you can find him under the ONTARIO heading I told him he has to come!!!

Hi Dave and Kate

Postby bellatear » Tue Sep 30, 2008 5:39 am

We have an actual reservation for June 8 thru the 15th on site 254, we will most likely add the weekend prior to the teardown as well. We booked what we had to for now, the teardown was booking up quick! Wow!
See you in June, unless of course we can pull off a winter weekend? At the teardown,we talked about possibly meeting in Old Forge for some snowshoeing/ sking! What do you think?
:)

Norm

Norm, glad to hear you and Jeanne (and the kids) are coming to FCP next year.
I finally bought a Kayak which I will bring along. FCP is such a great place to paddle. I need to remember the sun screen this year.

See ya later

Rick, Thanks for noticing but it wasn't the Red I was worried about.

It was the "purple" tint that my shins were taking on.
Plus it hurt like someone kicked me in the shin. :(

Everything is healed up now so I'll try to be more careful.
