Just got home from Moreau Lake! Wow! Couldn't have asked for better weather and even better company! It was definitely the perfect autumn weekend, cool, crisp, and clear skies joined with warm fires, good company and delicious food!
I want to thank all that attended, especially our friends that came from PA, the New England states and Canada. It means a lot to me that you guys make the trip year after year! I apologize to anyone that I diidn't get a chance to visit with, so much to do, so little time! Everyone really out-did themselves with the food at the tail-gate party that turned into a beach-side picnic. All the chili's and soups and salads and desserts were phenomenal! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did and had a safe trip home, even if some only lived 5 minutes from the campground!
I will be posting details for the spring in the coming months so check the board every once in a while for details.

Back home, trailer washed, and tucked back in asleep until the next camp out. It was great spending time with all our camping friends. Incredible weather, & tailgate potluck by the beach. What a great spot to camp! It seems like the time flies by faster and faster every gathering... where does the time go? Thanks to Rick for organizing and Ed for hosting the campfire. Hope to see everyone next time, if not sooner.

Rick and are are working on plans for a NYS Winter Gathering at the Old Forge Kamping resort. (Btw, they have cabins if you do not want to take your trailer out of storage.) They have electric and snowplowed sites! More information to follow later this fall.

Thanks Dave and Kathy for bringing a bit of Canada back for me. I "liked it a lot!"

Well, I can't tell you what a great time Louise and I had at the tailgate party at the beach !! It was great meeting friends from the Tearup at Fish Creek and talking with many new campers. Thanks for letting us crash the party...

wow....what started out as a wet mess, turned out to be a beautiful & very fun weekend!!

I was so happy to see "our" park shine so nicely-made us feel proud & we hope some of you will return!!
So great to spend time with our friends, new & old & getting to know others a little better. I think this was the most stress-free & relaxed I have ever been on a group camp meet, for various reasons!!
I loved that we moved the tailgate to the beach-brilliant idea!!!!
Sorry we did not get to say good-bye to everyone, C Loop, we meant to pull in & we got following Wayne & forgot to turn :?
I am thrilled that many of you were able to see our grandson, Daly, we were so excited that he showed up!!!

Can't wait to see everyone again & I know Ed will post his own comments-as soon as he gets back from trying to find NORTH!!!!!

Thanks Rick for everything-chickamoommoom!!!! 8)

We got back about 5:30.. Only 6.5 hours drive! Had lunch parked at the boat launch in Saranac Lake where a couple came by looking to see if we were selling food since we opened up the galley for lunch (and a beer), and watched a couple put in their pontoon boat for the first time (no warm clothes... they were crazy!). We ended up going through LP since we had to drop off some of our Lake George goodies in the Airstream since we ended up over our duty limit. Did I explain all that well? lol

Had a great time, we have an amazing group of camper friends. Look forward to next year. Regardless of where it is, we have a great bunch going so we'll be happy with whatever Ricky boy has in store for us! Mucho appreciated!

Had a blast, and the campfire last night was good fun! Glad Ed had a sh*t load of wood so we could build up the fire enough to get some warmth on the 'far side'.

Hope Ed gets a compass for Christmas! (hint hint Becky!), or at least find him that app so he knows which way is up!

I have a bunch of photos to post in the next day or so (along with some video). Would have been nice to get a shot of all those silly people around the campfire last night, alas was having too much fun to go get the camera. Still have lots of photos to check out thanks to Diane!

I'd like to also thank the many many groups of Canada Geese that flew over this morning to ensure we got up in time to pack up.

See you'all next year! (or sooner!)

Thanks Rick for organizing a great weekend!
You did a great job with the weather also!

Thanks Ed and Becky, for the campfires.

Cooper enjoyed all of the pets and love from all of his friends!
He's worn out, and has been sleeping most of the afternoon!

Rick I couldn't agree with you more.
Great friends and an awesome time.
From the Reynolds family, Thanks everyone for such a great ending to our camping season.
Sorry but we don't do winter camping. I'm more the beach kind of guy.

And to Pete sorry again about the generator thing.
