Thanks Mark, you talked me into it.

My brother lives in the Rochester, NY area so I'll stop and see him on the way. It will be good to get back to the ADK after a few years off. :)

Hey Kurt I hope you'll come join us on site #231 Friday night. We'll be having an informal beer tasting that evening. I don't know think we've ever had any Indiana beers.
Looking forward to seeing you!

We finally have a new to us camper for this years camping trips. Yeah. It's a 1958 Trotwood with a 13' body. A little bigger than the Shasta but just as cool.

Well she needs a little bit of work and I'm really hoping to have her campable by spring. :worship:
Fortunately this year I have had bunch of trailers to work on, unfortunately this will make it hard form me to work on my own trailer. Everyone wants their trailer by spring time dont you know.
I dont need no stinking sleep. :NC

So Mark you like this trailer. Do you still have that beautiful Modernistic.
I better stop thinking like that, Lise would shot me. She really likes the Trotwood too.

Just a friendly reminder, & there will be more as the date gets closer....we are collecting once again for the food pantry in Lake Placid....even if all you can donate is a can of tomato soup, it is the thought that counts....peanut butter, pasta, tuna, baby food, any nonperishable food item is very much appreciated!!!

I wanted to give everyone an update....for newbies & oldies alike!! We usually have a very lovely quilt to give away to one person who donates to the food pantry. You donate & your name(campsite) gets entered to win the quilt. Well this year we will have 2 items up for grabs!! we have a Milwaukee Tool cordless impact driver set as one of the items(donated by Rick Sheerin) & I am pretty sure we will have another Mary quilt to give away also-so you have 2 chances to win something, one winner per site!!!

I was informed today that there will be a week delay in the delivery of my Dexter axle. So the TD will not be done in time. :x

But, the good news is I finished the door tonight and it closes nicely... hopefully it will be kind of water proof.

We'll be tenting FCP this year.

Sorry for not posting sooner...

For those of you that are new to the TearUp of for those of you that aren't but might be wondering...Friday Night Beer tasting will be happening again this year. Details below.

2012 Friday Night Pints Beer Tasting  :shake hands:

7pm (or we can start at 6 if that's preferred)

Site #231

Come for an evening of casual beer sampling.
-Bring your favorite home brew, local micro brew, or just plain old favorite brew for folks to sample. (plus any extra that you might want to have for yourself) If you don't drink beer come anyway and bring whatever you like!

-Fireside snacks will be welcomed if folks want to nibble throughout the evening. Keep it simple.

-Musical instruments are very much welcomed for fireside entertainment. (If you can play one...that would be even better!)

- BYOC (chair) BYOBS(Bug Spray)

Campfire will be provided
hopefully if it's not raining :rainy:
