Hi all!

I had a nice talk with Jeanne at Knoebels (570)672-9555, I explained
to her who we were and she is excited to see us, she saw the Travel
Channels show with Teardrops in it, but has never saw one in real life!

Anyway she told me about the wooded areas suitable for teardrops.
I booked TP-1 in the Texas Panhandle area, Friday & Saturday nites the
16th & 17th of September...

Any of the T or TP sites that do not have P squares around them should
put you close, they can give you a good detail of each site, just
verify/ask...

She told me after Labor Day PARK hours will be:

Fri. 16th closed.
Sat. & Sun. 17th&18th Noon -8:00 p.m.

$32.00/ nite camping check in 3:00 pm, check out 2:00 pm

So it looks like Sat. the 17th is the day to hit the park!

Pushed to the 17 & 18th so hopefully Jerry, Wendy, Dennis & Darla can
make it as well!!!!

I hope I'm not premature BUT I had to book because we leave Sunday for
a week at Cape Henelopen In Delaware with the Ctear!

Cheers,

Coop

We won't be able to make it. :( We are pretty much filled up with doctor appointments and other stuff to do any teardropping. Our next event that we will attend will be with the Southren Appalachian chapter at Davidson River, NC on Oct 21-23. :) I guess that one is filled up in the loop that we are at? Hopefully next year the planning will be a little better for all the different events that take place in the North East. Some are TearJerker and some are friendship ones.

Dennis-

Amy, Ariel & I are sorry to hear that, we will miss you guys, hope it's nothing serious with the Doc...

This Knoebel's thing is just a friendship thing, we needed to get Jan out in Sept..!

Hopefully we will get some more Tearjerkers out to Knoebel's, nobody can say a prayer like Len!

Cheers,

Hi all!

For further information about Knoebels:

http://knoebels.com/

Great older family park, lots of mature trees, no admission, pay as
you go or day pass for unlimited rides.
Knoebels does allow pets in the campground and in the park.

I just don't know how much FUN we tearjerkers can handle!

Sorry Coop, I'm out too. Business takes me out of town that weekend. This job thing really gets in the way sometimes. But I'll be there in sprit...Halleluiah.

Happy Trails

Knoebel's Pic's

Postby goldcoop » Mon Sep 19, 2005 4:43 pm

Hi All!

Jan, Jerry, Wendy, Amy, Ariel, Simba & I had a good time at Knoebel's!

We should consider it for next year's calendar of events for September!
It would be a different venue then most gatherings, but the park is fun!

The Texas Panhandle section is a spur off of the main, enough room for
14 trailers, pets allowed!, electric hook-ups, a stage (tent platform)
for Lenny...

Check out photos at:

one=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/goldcoop/my_photos

PS: Check out Jerry as a big, stinky Troll!

The park is a old-style family park, FREE admission, lots of mature
trees, a great mini-golf course and pay-as-you-go rides or all-day
hand stamp...

Cheers,

Coop
