Anyone know of anything going on in the vacinity of the PA Grand Canyon around the beginning of Oct? The wife and I usually try to get out there for the color change around the second week in Oct, thought maybe we could spend a weekend this year instead of a day trip.
Any campgrounds around that area? Afraid I'm not familiar with the surrounding area.
Any info would be appreciated.

Rich
That Leonard Harrison State Park is real nice. Theres another one just on the other side of the Canyon called Colton Point

http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/ ... point.aspx

Very Rustic but it has some great views. about a mile away from each other as the crow flies..but about a 50 mile drive.

Happy Trails
