okay. We had some unexpected help from God step in around Christmas and capt telescope was kind enough to lend us a hand...i hope we can show him a good time in pinedale in return in july....we are on!.....the official dates for this years walk the winds 2019.are for july.......july 11th, 2019, at 1.pm.......through Sunday july 14.2019 at 1pm to be checked out....this this the official thread for this years gathering in pinedale wyoming...at new fork lakes up the corea road 14 miles out of pinedale at group site A. This,will be our 7th year to hold wyomings only teardrop camper trailer gathering or the walk the winds named after the famous wind river moutains that we will be camped in..come out set the dates and relaxe in camp chairs in cool 60 to 70 degreas under tall pine trees bring water or a beer or a pop and come shoot the breeze with us in the shade...bring a boat and go out on new forks or beat slow headed out with a fishing pole to some ..yea unreported good holes...and bring food and dutch ovens and a Coleman lantern...se ya all in July we are on!.....slowcowboy.. :applause:
Plans. there was supposed to be plans to be followed when I built this thing. Opps! AH, gee, tum,tee tum. I think I forgot about the plans 2 years ago. ------Tow vehicles, 1995 ford explore, 1994 ford ranger, 1993 ford F-150, 2009 4x9 Off road teardrop, on harbor freight greatly modified frame.

Yer Dang Tootin' I'll be there. It'll be good to see Wolfgang again and I'm looking forward to meeting Mike and whoever else shows up. :D

I'm going to try and bring my old coleman lantern. It's complete, but I've not been able to start it up.

Has anyone ever camped in or near Flaming Gorge? Possibly dispersed camping? I'm looking at options for either side of WTW.

I had seen those on the map. It looks like there are hundreds of campsites around the Gorge. I'm curious what impressions folks have.

That was very helpful for the map. For some reason the forest service map isn't working with the locations.

Sorry i am slow to update the walk the winds 2019 thread.i had a way crazy march.bad weather. My dad hit the hospital in early msrch than died just last week with congestive heart failure the funerals today in fact...its been a howler this spring water well out wood pellet furnance quitting toilet numbing plugged up..cow had to have a c section...i mean my world's been going crazy since Jan first....so.word on the puke is pinedale got a hard extra,snowy winter since we are early July this year pray the camp ground will be open and melted out by July first.....2.whos all coming..heres the list..
For sures....slow me.captan telscope.rob fisher.sparks.photophofic...wolfang.so,....5 or 6 years running????.....we must be likable,.....any chance your going to make it estaban????...lets get the word out so more or we will be talking to ourselfs at 3,am..slowcowboy.
