All I can say is at 103 degreas yesterday afternoon and with red flag fire danger posted by now for pinedale the next 2 days this sure isn't camping weather kinda glad that my teardrops door almost fell out off my teardrop when I got into lander and pulled in for ice at safeway...dang sure a crappy so dang hot dry summer...i pulled off the road to discover my side door had came open on the road coming from pavillion and the wood in it was disintegrating and the door hinge was rotted out and falling apart and I couldn't keep the door in my teardop..luckly I lost nothing inside as the bed was loaded with cargo to the hilt. So i strapped my door in with a basket weave of bungee cords and turned around and went home unloaded my teardop at the house and had to get a car jack to keep my door from falling off in my driveway to unload my teardop....but man..it was so dang hot yesterday weeew!!..and it was smokey and smoggy as he'll in lander and ethete you could hardly see the moutains so glad to get rain last night but with 103 its defently a relief the teardrops door crapped out..its to hot to even do much farm work outside.let alone be out camping in this crazy heat wave ...see you guys next year....slow

It's fixed right and much cheaper than a whole temporary light kit would have been; just a ton of work to fix the thing I had paid good money to be done right a couple years ago when I thought pros could do it better than me. The lights weren't keeping me form the trip anyway, I could have done other temporary solutions but gas money, migraines, and a couple other things just made this one too hard to do right now....

Well, ya gotta year to get the teardrop door fixed. Maybe next year everything will line up perfect. Seems like everyone had a good time and a big thanks should go to Will for keeping this gathering alive. :applause: Maybe I'll get a group together to come back in 2022. We sure love it out there.

Glad to hear that you all had a good time and the weather wasn't too bad. Wish we could have made it, but I have a bunch to finish/fix before the next trip. Learned a bunch on our shakedown trip to the Grand Canyon and have quite a hit list of things to do before we take it out again.

This was a fantastic campout. Thanks to everyone for the good times and conversations. I was a little bummed we didn't get to do the lantern lighting. I bought one just for this campout. Now I'll have to wait until next year to light it.
