We'll be there. Last year was fun but this year will be even better as I will actually have a trailer, completed in April, and have also been experimenting with the dutch oven. Cya in September.

Greetings from Florence Denny!

I was in Westcliffe the other day and spotted your van. I couldn't remember your name and didn't want to start knocking on doors...

Looks like you put together a nice trailer. Looking forward to seeing it.

Duane, George,
Thanks for the compliments. Got-R-Done this spring, hooked up, went to IL, WI, MI & IN, a little over 3000 miles, got back to Westcliffe, put it in the garage and it's been there ever since. So I am really looking forward to September. George, I was in Canon friday, walked thru the store but didn't see you, was just going to say hey.

It doesn't look like the wife & I will be able to make it. Had a couple of people quit this last week, so I am stuck working their shifts until I can hire some replacements. The joys of owning your own business :?

Was really looking forward to meeting everyone.

George,
Wadaya think, can I make it to Victor if I just stay on rte 67 or is it really 4wd. Can't remember if that is phantom canyon, shelf road or something else. Or do you think I should just go to the springs and cut over on 24? I will be driving the van and looking for an adventure but still want to get there. See ya this weekend.

Hey Denny.

It's a little rough and rocky, but if you made it to the Delores River last year, you won't have any probelms getting to Victor. Just remember what gravel roads/rocks due to the front end and fenders of a teardrop. That's why I have a bra on the nose of the Lost Teardrop and I had bed liner sprayed on my fenders last spring. Rocks. HA! I do have to say that I painted my fenders three times before I had them coated...

All that being said. I haven't been through Phantom Canyon [Hiway 67] in a couple of years. I :worship: WOULD NOT take Shelf Road. Period.

I plan on being at the campout on Friday AM. Looking forward to seeing you folks!

George,
Thanks for the info. My wife thinks we will have enough adventure going to the springs and cutting over on 24, so I guess that's settled :) We are leaving thurs and hope to be there when you arrive. BTW I have been thinking about changing the color of my fenders anyway
