Wyoming Cutt Slam program http://wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/FISHING-1000209.aspx

Great program, but you don't have to catch them all in the same day. That would involve some fast driving!!! :o

In case Slow didn't tell anyone, I will be turning a lot of overtime into Comp time so I can make it. (wedding/house money being turned into comp hours) Its amazing what kind of time off you get when you fall on your ass in the parking lot at work :D . Its amazing what kind of time you use up so you can heal! Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Slow,

I have been keeping a close eye on this thread for the last couple months. Living so close in Cheyenne (close in Wyoming terms being only 6 hours away), it should have been an easy choice to attend. But I have been reluctant to commit because I wasn't completely sure the Wyoming Woody would be ready in time.

Well it looks like I will be ready in time! So barring anything unforseen you can put us down as a yes!

I am looking forward to my first teardrop gathering and to get a chance to meet many of you fantastic people face to face for the first time! Maybe I can finally convince my girlfriend I am not totally insane with my teardrop obsession once she has a chance to see all the hard work and fun that we have dreaming up, building, and camping in our creations!

See you all soon!

Cheers!
Ryan

Actually, it was 170+ TRAILERS at the dam. But I love small gatherings just as much.

Maybe we should make this into a contest. Lets see how many people we can stuff in a teardrop.

We would like to attend the Walk The Winds 2013 gathering. Is there somewhere we sign up? What is the cost etc. My husband just finished building the teardrop camper and we thought this was a great way to meet others...

A number of folks contributed the funds to reserve the camp site earlier this year. While Mike just said he didn't think he would charge anything, I would suggest folks maybe consider chipping in to the kitty for next year. Something you all could discuss at the camp. Usually, the host reserves the group site then divides the cost among all who attend. Just something to think about. I sure wish I could make it out to this one, but the wife is making me go to Hawaii this year.

Last year it cost each trailer 2 bucks a night for the 3 nights we were there. I like your idea. It will keep the gathering going forever that way! :applause:

You can put ruthy and I on the maybe list. Ruthy is my girlfriend by the way haha. Herbie won't be on the maybe list for WTW2. So are we going to make camp side butter this year? (Inside joke for the WTW1) So I left walk the winds last year with a great experience, when we left (2 other teardrop trailer) we went to Yellowstone for 7 nights and saw a teardrop trailer on my way out..... not sure who it was... no name red jeep.

Ill try and post some pics, my device I'm using is wigging out ttyl

Question;

Will there be a "T" shirt for this year ???????????????????

As I'm still on the May-be list, I would like to know.
Last year I had a funeral to go to and Paul was kind enough to send them to me.

Any taker uppers yet ???????

So I'm looking to rent a car to come to the gathering so I'm not the only one doing the driving, any advice? My car is a five speed and need an automatic. A Prius would be ideal :D

Mike, we sure wanted to attend your gathering last year but we had to make the California trip instead. We're gonna try to make it this year. As of right now it appears we may be able to get away & we're sure gonna try! With any luck we'll see y'all in August. I have a sightseeing route all planned out & the GPS coordinates for the New Fork Lake C/G ready to plug in to the TomTom (yeah, I know the Group camp is separated from the 20-site C/G but if I get that close I bet I can find it ;) ). Lookin' forward to meeting you, Angie, & everyone...
