My trailer is coming along and I am now confident it will be compete before the gathering! Looks like we won't have to sleep in a tent.

See you all in August!

Ok Slow I have been working hard getting things ready for Walk in the Winds, New curtains in the tear, new luggable loo and privacy shelter, new fire pit grill, new fishing pole, and lots of other stuff :? but now it is time to meal plan. Can you give us some informatio on the potluck's? how many, what days and if they are breakfast, lunch or dinner?
That way I can plan the menu and shop accordingly.

Can't wait.... ;)

 Seems that in 2012 the big meals were Saturday b'fast and dinner. Lunch you were sorta on your own. Things just sorta happened, no linen table cloths and such. Pretty laid back! Iff'n you run short on grub, there are several grocery stores in Pinedale.

I am certainly not worried about going hungry, all the tear-droppers I have met are very kind and generous, just trying to menu plan. Deciding on ham or pot roast or fried chicken. Then again maybe some really yummy mac and cheese for a side. It is a good thing I have time to make up my mind.
See yall there ;)

I was originally going to arrive Thursday. But it may be Friday or even Saturday now. I have to have my wisdom teeth removed and I need to have a couple of vacation days to cover that just in case.

I have to drop out. I need to use too much vacation time for my wisdom teeth removal to make this trip this year.

If it was not a 2 and a half day drive each way I could make it. Just not enough vacation time left this year.

Good news, I'm on the for sheezy list!!!!!!!! Leaving Escondido CA night of the 13th to "sleep" :? In vegas :R    :wine:  and like I said maybe some sleep haha. But morning of the 14th head to salt lake and visit a dear friend for lunch :stompspam: ....... then off to Yellowstone at Madison camp grounds :D . And I'll let my little secret out :R there is a hot spring there that you won't find any info on and yes you can get in it   but finding it will be the issue   I've given you the clues you figure it out...... :applause: on the 15th we will be on our way to the boiling river :x another hot spring you can swim in, again just clues   north end, park in Montana walk to the river  . Then off to granite hot spring. Its real close to the gathering....... I hope to see some fellow teardropers there btw haha and depending on how the traffic is and how much i enjoy the hot springs I'll be at the gathering late 15th to mid day 16th :worship: :NC . I'll be heading out the 18th Sunday afternoon. Hope y'all still got room for my UFO/egg lol :D if not, the beach walking distance from the gathering had plenty of room for beach camping haha. Can't wait to see old faces and meet new ones. Like i said everyone, granite hot spring on the evening of the 15th, and if I make it there and they are closed for the night you better believe I'm staying one night outside of the place haha  to take a dip in the pool  let me know if you want info on any of this 8)

Just bought a 1963 lantern for our light off, my first vintage lantern and its still with the same red box it came in! Any advice for me like what's the best fuel to use?

Oh no, that one's a fire bomb ready to happen. You better send it to me for proper disposal.
It's in beautiful shape and you got a nice case for it. I think it's money well spent.
Just use Coleman Fuel in it.

Pump it up to see if it holds pressure first before adding fuel.
