I have been to Yellowstone several times. The best time to get around is at daybreak. When most people are just getting up and having breakfast. My advise is to get going at daybreak and have a late breakfast around 10:00. The down side is the trinket shops (Visitor centers) wont be open at daybreak. But the trails and parking lots will be almost empty. There is a big tent campground(Parking lot (sarc)) in the Tetons. Most in Yellowstone are hard-side only. If not hard-side they are always full.

Steve,

As always, it depends on how my projects at work are doing.
Right now things/timing look good. But it still 7 months out.
I know if I ask the two canines, they would say yes in a heart beat.

Hope to meet again in 7 month...

Howdy Steve
I'm signing in to let you know that in this point in time I am planning on attending the 2015 walked the winds gathering. I had a fine time at the 2012 walk the winds, but I haven't made it out west much since then and this looks like a grand opportunity to do so again.posting.php?mode=reply&f=11&t=61887# Looking at the list of attendees I see several names that were there in 2012 and I look forward to meeting them again, I also note a diversity of states represented, so kindly add my name to the list. Joe Bennett Amarillo Texas

Rob and Cindy, glad you will make the gathering. It is a beautiful corner of the world. Looking forward to meet you both.

Joe B. is one of the 3 Amigos along with myself and Paul A from Jersey. Joe and I met Paul in Cheyenne on the way out to Walk the Winds in 2012, and became friends that camp together at least one time a year. So 2 of the 3 will be here this gathering and we will join up with Paul at the Ramsey Lake ,Land Of Lincoln gathering in Illinois, in August!

This is one of the positive things that comes out of attending a gathering of like minded people that live in little trailers. You make lots of friends.

Who will be next?
