[quote="Betsey If they end up getting in really late, Lori & Jim may boondock at Wally World in Black River Falls, just off the Interstate and only a couple of miles from Castle Mound.
See? It's not as confusing as it may seem.... :? At least not to Lori, Dianne and me...maybe it's a girl thing...

I hope I can avoid the WalMart thing. I plan to leave at 2:30 and arrive by 6pm. Is there a chance we can put multiple paying units on a single site?

Hi everyone,
I plan on leaving work by 3:00 with trailer and kayaks packed. I should be at the park by 5:30. Hopefully I can get a site . If not , it's boondocking at Wallyworld :) with Jim and who ever else hasn't got a site .
I love Craig's idea of a dutch oven cook-off in the parking lot. We just have to buy our s'more fixin's at Walmart :campfire: . Do they have a liquor store nearby. :guzzle. Besides who would kick out a couple cute little teardrops out of their parking lot :vroom: :vroom:. They should pay us to camp in their lot. $>

Sounds like you guys will get there before me! I'm going up in the morning to grab a site and then returning home. There are still 8 sites left (although it shows the campground is full because advance reservations for Friday are no longer available) I'm not taking the tear until I go back up in the evening with Craig. I still have to pack it up, as we're using one of our rentals. Seeing as he's never home from the shop before 7:00pm, we'll probably get there by 8:00pm.

Jim & Lori...I am checking when I get there to see if I can snag a couple more sites for you guys...will let you know what I find out. PM me your vehicle info, address & phone in case I can get you a site. I will also check on doubling up but usually Wisconsin State parks won't let you do that.

Drive safe, everyone! :vroom:

Toby and Sue, I just checked my reservation e-mail for BRSF. I was wrong! Check in/out times isn't 2pm. It's 3pm. Ouch!

I don't think you'll have a problem checking in early...whenever we have stayed in a WI state park on a weekend, there are always sites available by mid morning on Sunday.
