It looks like woodsmoke won't make Beavers Bend for camping, but I'm going to try a day trip on Saturday. I am currently taking daily intravenous antibiotics for that dirty nail that I stepped on. Hey, Aggie 79, here lately I have been seeing more snipe in the early morning hours - just before sunrise - than I have at night. Ya might want to keep that in mind. However, night hunting is always fun and often productive. Regardless, all snipe hunting has to be during the dark hours. Good luck !!!!

John,
Sorry to hear you won't be able to camp but I hope to see you on your day trip to BB. By the way, what type of critters were you feeding last year? I thought they were raccoons but maybe they were snipe.
Take care,
Tom

I'm all packed and ready to start for Oklahoma tomorrow morning. It looks like I will stay busy for the next week working on my daughter's house in Durant and camping with my Grandson who will be on Spring Break next week.
One problem. It is kinda hard to leave temperatures in the 70's behind! March normally has snow all month long in Iowa.
I'm hoping for great weather for Beaver's Bend
Will see you all starting the 22nd

I believe I'm going to have to side with Danny on this one

Big talk from a man who has 26 cats. I guess I need to find another vet for Teddy.

As for Danny, we are still in training. I'm working on his aim.
