I arrived home last night at 7:30 in the fog. Haven't had time to get settled yet this morning but wandered around the yard looking at the remains of snow drifts and thinking it is warmer here even with the snow

Glad everyone made it home safe and sound.

FYI, I am going to attempt to move this gathering out into April next year. Shooting for end of April as Easter is April 20 in 2014.

I will hold our original dates for now.

I can not call about reservations until April 29. Even if there are 1-10 campsites already reserved I could reserve what ever is left and then it will be first come first serve not knowing how many of the double up sites will be available upon arrival. (Thanks Woody for talking this through with me the other day)

Despite the on and off rain it was warmer at Beavers Bend than Wichita, KS. Some places reported 6 inches of snow.


I took pictures of all but two campers there. The RV and the farthest south Teardrop. The rain chased me back to
the shelter so I did not get to it. A lot of the pictures were just for my reference on how people set up their stuff and
TD ideas to incorporate into my build. I’ll post the better looking pictures on Photobucket and post a link soon.

We are going out into April so it will be warmer.

So in regards to the senior discounts, what qualifies as senior?
I order from the seniors menu at Denny's, does that count:-)

ummmm I think it is 55 or 60 (can't remember) LOL I don't think you qualify for Senior discount just because you order from Seniors Menu at Denny's. I eat a childs plate when I go out to eat at some places but I am far from being a child. LOL

If it's 55 then we're good. If it is 60, then we have a couple of years more to go.
