Christmas at Ray Roberts

I can't find the Christmas Post so will start another. We will have our annual Christmas at Ray Roberts on December 7-9th.
.
There is hiking for the ladies. Some people go shopping!
Of course there is a pot luck, Saturday night. Maybe Caroling and a Christmas movie.
Best of all is breakfast, Sunday morning in Sanger. I'll have a Ranch Hand breakfast!

We usually have a gift exchange. Most people buy or bring some little something with one gift per person to exchange. If you like it, I can promise it WILL get stolen! Some people make the gift or find something around the house that someone might want. It is fun for all!

Who is coming? :coffee:

We will plan on being there. Really like camping in December. The campfire feels great and the breakfast in Sanger is hard to beat.

Hey Cindy,

Scott had posted a what's up thread for Ray Roberts, that is probably what you were looking for, but since we are getting close lets start fresh and make this the official Ray Roberts thread! I will add it to the calendar! I have a Res for Nov and Dec already in place, just need to get a CAMPER in place!

We will be there for sure.

Cindi will be providing her famous chili for dinner once again on Friday night. We provide all the chili and fixin's for everyone if someone (or two) will bring some dessert(s).

And I'm drooling for some breakfast in Sanger

I am planning on US being there.... gotta wait till that week though and check the forecast. Cold doesn't scare me , but don't wanna drive there on ice! and we've all had our fill of cold & wet.

I've been telling Kenny about this gathering and he loves you all just like I do , so I hope we can make it!

If I make it, I may have to tent camp, unless I can borrow a tow vehicle, which is possible. I don't have a hitch on the Mini, and I'm not sure I want to.

Just a heads-up, Denton County has re-instituted a burn ban "for the foreseeable future."

So you sold your new car and got a Mini? Those are cool. They make a hitch for them not too expensive if you felt OK with the look. Hard to imagine you would own a car with no hitch which effectively ends your teardropping... That's some cold campin in a tent!!!

As far as me, I am still working on the deck on the big trailer and after that I am going to start on my teardrop again, so it will get done when it get's done, and at least there are always availabilities in Dec at the park.
