OK, got it changed. Sept. 17-18-19 open air train ride Sat. ! Lady was very nice! She'd camped around a tear group, near Waco, (i think) a couple years ago and said how much fun we had, and are! Anyway, she's right and I can hardly wait. :D

:x  Just marked calendar...Daughter is getting married in York, Pa. that week. We would have made the first date, but not now! I will be back in time. But Nick and I, with no chaperon....who's would keep ME outta trouble? I will call and cancel our space Monday, refund our train tickets, if we can. If not, might be a deal for someone out there!
Now we are rethinking the Louisiana swamp run.

I am excited for this new camping season, and this is a great way to kick it off for me even though alot of peeps have been camping all through the summer. I plan to see lots of NEW places this season and I know when we first got on the forum it was about our camper builds so it will be cool to see the new trailers, Scotty's updated paint, Dave and Cindy's interior mods on the Hi Lo and I am excited to show all the additions of wood to my interior as well as my new air conditioning set up which is not done yet but will be by then.

Bring on the CAMP! :applause:

Was about to load up firewood and thought I'd call since there's a burn ban in my county and they said they currently have a burn ban as well

Don't forget to bring something to pack as a lunch for the train ride! It's an hour and a half each way and you can call them order order a sandwich in advance but itfifteen bucks so yeah, pack a lunch!! :stompspam:

That's weird because I called at 1:00 today and April, I think, told me no burn ban. Was just about to load up wood myself. Guess I will call again and see what they say this time. :o

Wow, dealing with this park has been an experience, I am glad you had called too or I wouldn't have brought any! I am hooked up and loaded up and wood is included! This will be my shakedown run after doing all my upgrades, will be interested to see how the electric tongue jack holds up, seems pretty well made. I plan to arrive by the 2pm checking time or earlier.
