I am sitting here at Talimena state park and besides the big rig which I think is the camp host, I am the only one here. The rain is literally skirting just SE of me, hasn't rained a drop and forecasted for zero but if it turns just a bit north the forecasters will be wrong again. I left a day late due to the rain. I hope the rain somehow parts like the Red Sea and misses you guys for the most part!

We are just leaving Lake Bistineau. We had a good trip in spite of the rain. Anna took a group picture.

Got home yesterday afternoon around 3:30. We'd had more rain here at home than at LCG but we're still under a burn ban. Light rain right now so maybe they'll lift the ban in a day or so.

We didn't get in the group pic (nor the potluck). Wife was feeling a little poorly & it was too wet to light my charcoal to 'grill' the pork tenderloins so we stayed in the Casita & just enjoyed being dry. Only made a few pix this trip. Hope to post 'em in a day or so. Even with the rain we had a good time as always. With any kind of luck we'll continue to visit Lake Bistineau SP in October.

Camping in the rain with friends was still better than sitting home! Good to see old friends. :)

Gary and I made it home .... stayed Sunday at Toad Suck ....we love that park. and drove rest of way home on Monday. In spite of the small crowd and rain ... we had a great time. Will have to start planning schedule for next year. :)
Where ever we raise the hatch is home.
