I don't know about everyone else but I am beyond ready to get to Beavers Bend

I still have to finish up my big order to deliver in Idabel, finish my income tax, bring cargo trailer home (for sale at local RV dealer), get Charles to pack wheel bearings, pack a few things in the cargo trailer ( I will be camping with bare essentials as I will be camping alone) and update my BB list

I have 4 sites reserved for Wednesday, #25, 26 27 and 28 but any empty site can be used for those arriving on Wednesday

I need to get a good head count for those arriving Thursday
Please look at the list on page one,
If I don't have a note beside your name with your arrival day please shoot me a comment, msg, FB msg or text 936-635-2596
I need to call and confirm how many are arriving on Thursday

And Wednesday apparently! Thank you Linda for keeping up with this, hosting this and bringing us all together! I'll be there at 9am Thursday pushing people out of their sites! (Which means 12-2pm as usual!)

Plan on bringing about $3 but we only play with pennies so ... you only are playing about 22cents per round with up to 7 chances to win PER ROUND! I'll have rolls of pennies to make change. This will be something different and fun, not a big gamble. It's very easy to play, similar to Bingo but better.
Everybody play! Let's do it Saturday afternoon. (Each round is only about 3 minutes).

We are just a week away now for Beavers Bend YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Charles got my wheel bearings packed and I've thrown some stuff into my cargo trailer and hopefully Wednesday can put it all in place and finish loading my order to deliver

I wanted to give everyone some information and fill in our newbies on BB

The park reservations are now online (will get with the office Friday to see how that works for us next year)


They needed to know how many were coming in on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday so I gave them a rough count
Danell put Modisette on these sites for Wednesday
25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
Now, that does not necessarily mean you all HAVE to take these spots. First check with the camp host, same as last year, Jess Ramsey, he was easy to work with and didn't worry much about what we were doing.
If your favorite site is not booked by someone else then they will most likely let you take it.

Thursday sites that have Modisette on them are
9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24,

Friday sites with Modisette are
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11

We currently have all sites full with doubling up on 4 sites

Newbies,
I do not assign sites or who doubles up.
Usually those of us that have camped together for years don't mind doubling up.
It is first come first serve. Make the loop and see where you would like to set up.
Make the loop again and pull in and set up (it will take you a while to set up as those that are already set up will come visit and talk while you are working) LOL

The sites for doubling up are
1,3,6,9,10,12,13,14,15 and 16

If you pull into one of these sites please make sure you pull down enough to leave room for someone else
These sites are long and give plenty of privacy

I know some may need/want to save a site for someone coming in on Friday.
It is ok with me to park a vehicle in that space late Thursday evening. If parked there earlier they may consider it taken and charge us for Thursday (just play it by ear)

We all usually do our own food thing on thing on Thursday and Friday nights but it sounds like there is a potluck Friday night if you want to participate.
We have a group picture around 6pm on Saturday and Pot Luck supper following the picture
We usually have a food thread going but not this time. I know there is one on FB under South Central Tears

Linda, this is great. I posted the food thread on FB because we have been communicating more there lately. I'm not sure that there would be a pot luck on Friday. I tend to make a large meal for Friday night so there is enough to share if others want to share.

...and if it's raining you still have to come. BB has a huge pavilion but the current crapshoot says sunny and perfect Thursday-Monday!
