With all the rains in Texas and Oklahoma, I was just checking to see if we need to bring any snorkeling gear.

Been trying to get on here and it wouldn't let me on. I am now using Gene's name and password. We plan to be there Thursday afternoon. What do we bring for the breakfast on Saturday morning? I am confused about the potluck, will it be on Friday or Saturday night? Sorry I couldn't get on here sooner don't know why it wouldn't let me on. Are you all trying to tell me something? lol Grani

Finally got on here. Still don't know what to bring for the breakfast. Someone tell me.

I'm going to bring a box of eggs a pack or bacon and a pack or sausage for breakfast baggies. Granni you could bring some veggies to put in the bags like chopped green peppers, onions and mushrooms!

Last year was my first. I didn't know about the breakfast and didn't find out until it was over. (I was way down on the end and couldn't see the pavilion, and I also missed the group picture.) Anyway, I'm sure I will hop into Broken Bow before Saturday and will purchase anything that is still needed for the breakfast. Looking forward to the return visit.

Well, as much as I hate to say this, we won't be there after all. This weather has really got my asthma acting up. We were all ready to leave and things got a lot worse so guess we will be stuck here this week end. Gonna miss every one. Please think of us.

Thomas, since Grani can't make it (and I'm really sorry to hear that), I will bring the veggies for the bags...and anything else. Let me know.

awwwww Grani, I am so sorry you are having asthma problems. We sure will miss you and Gene. Hugs to you both. Hope ya get to feeling better. You know you can still come if you feel better

I will do the bacon. You think 6#'s will be enough? I can bring more?
My 36" griddle will have room if someone wants to do sausage or eggs or hash browns or pancakes.

We just canceled our cabins so that we don't lose our deposit. We will re-assess tomorrow morning after the rain is for certain done. If everything looks fine, we'll head out. I have been in a flood before and had some near-misses. I won't head out at all if things look problematic.

Hello Beavers Bend!

We should be on our way tomorrow morning and arriving at noon or so. Save us a spot!

All packed and ready, then an emergency popped its ugly head, so I won't make it this year after all. If anyone who is going sees this, please tell Linda/Thomas I can't come. I promised to bring onions and peppers for Saturday morning. Sorry. Life does sometimes get in the way of living. Hope you guys have a great time.
