My understanding is that there will not be an LCG this year.

Madjack started LCG as a gathering & to celebrate his birthday weekend, & Haloween. He said that first year he'd like to keep it going for 10 years. Last year was #10. I think Mark (Planovet) is correct... We may go down that weekend anyway, just for the helluvit. ;)

Thanks guys. We'll probably plan a trip on our own then, around that time.

Hate to see LCG go away. It was our first outing that we camped (in a tent).

Any thoughts on reviving the Petit Jean SP gathering instead of LCG?

I would never want to step on Jack's LCG. But if there will not be an LCG, Petite Jean is a beautiful place. October would be a great time.

I agree! While we didn't make it to LCG as much as we would have liked, we have many good memories of our times there. Hopefully it will "re-boot".

If LCG in some form or fashion doesn't happen, Petite Jean is a great alternative.
