Still sites available and this looks like this will be another big one. I am looking forward to it but also looking forward to some classic South Central casual gatherings.

When we arrive at Bob Sandlin first one there let some one know who can pass the world wherever you are so we can try to be together I know Shelley will be doing her thing so we can do like Tyler and have our section but still be part of the overall group. I'm planning on being there Thursday as are a few others. I always shoot for noon and always end up there at 2pm. Since this is in my neck of the woods and I going to try to do better!

The real question is who is arriving Friday? There's no guarantee but we can politely try to unofficially hold a some nearby sites if we know who to "try" and hold em for. Some deep pockets might be able to reserve a Thursday to officially get the site for ya too, just throwin ideas out to us old schoolers!

There are a bunch of people coming... like 35 trailers at last count. About half are from the SW teardrop group that we met at Tyler and a slew of strangers. Shelly from that group has gotten with the park host to group us together and we originally were all planning for the Cherokee Trace loop but I just read they will "put" us in a loop. I am thinking we don't want to be "put" anywhere so to keep it simple that we don't change our plan.... We stay in the Cherokee loop no matter what. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but open to opinions.

Regardless, the first person to arrive if you have a cell signal, please post here where you are so we can build our sites from there and create an old school South Central gathering among the masses. Share phone numbers and keep in contact! I don't know what I'll be driving or towing but I'll be there!

OK Shelley confirmed that the park has assigned all of the Cherokee Trace loop and "part" of the Sherman loop to the group, so make sure to mention you are with the SW teardrop group or they will tell you it's reserved for a group if you just say you want a site in Cherokee.

I got my sewer hook up with a P trap all done on my Scotty, no sewer at Bob Sandlin but wanted to get it done. I also replaced the solid pane of glass on my rear side window with a regular opening window with a screen so I can enjoy the breeze at night. just need to repack the wheel bearings and I'll be ready for the season.
