Bill, did you have a reservation that needs cancelling? I want to go, but no vacancy at Tawakoni. Or anyone else?
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

I'll be there on Friday, since it's only 30 min away I should be able to get there early and hopefully get close or in the loop. If I can steal away at lunchtime I might be able to reserve Thursday too just to check in and get a spot and then go back to work. I hate that my vacation time is now so limited!!

Remember there are three small loops plus the main road all within the Spring Point loop and we are aiming for the loops with sites 60-67

If needed, site #70 in the next loop over is a super quick 30 second walk through a clear area and 69 and 71 are not horrible either too.

I am making Squash Casserole and sausage balls and spinach balls for Saturday night.
I am making Peach slushies Friday night and Saturday night if I have enough stuff. How far to the liquor store?

Since you will probably be coming up Hwy 34 to Terrell and then Hwy 80 to Wills Point, I don't know about Wills Point honestly, but when you make a right on 80 and go under the bridge you'll have your choice!

Bill and I are bringing chocolate cake and pasta salad for Saturday pot luck. We will probably not be organized enough to do anything for Friday night.
I don't get off work until 1:00 Friday afternoon. If you can, save us a place close by. Anxious to see everyone.

Love them rips!

I won't be coming tomorrow (thurs), I've got conference calls right through the middle of the day and (luckily) I remembered that ever since the Rusk gathering late last year when I forgot to bungee my AC unit down and it took a big tumble on the way home, it now leaks condensation all over the place if the compressor cycles too much apparently due to a crack in the condensation pan from the fall. It was fine after that because it was the fall and then the spring and it didn't run much but I did notice it leaking again at this most recent Daingerfield gathering. The plan was to take it all apart and epoxy the crack but I forgot about it. This weekend with a heat advisory and humidity the AC will be running all day and making condensation like crazy so it's cancel or bite the bullet and spend the $300 on a new unit. So I just bought a new unit. At least I have a spare now for another camper or whatever! At any rate I need to get it installed tomorrow too so all that means it will be luck o the draw for a site on Friday. See y'all then!

My air-conditioning decided it was not going to work
I will be going to Lowes or Home Depot and see about getting a new one.
I'm not sure if I can find one to fit the existing hole i"n the trailer.

Sounds like (and feels like) an AC problems weekend! I bought the exact same model and swapped it out today with no issues. Condensation leak stopped so it wasn't high humidity last summer, it really is a crack, that's easy enough to solve LATER! Glad I got mine fixed and I hope you get yours fixed too Bill! I'll be there tomorrow (Friday!) in the vicinity of noon-ish. Just need to stop by the store and load clothes, food and COLD BEER
