Teardrop Registering in Oregon?

Hey all,

I've done some research on the Oregon.gov website regarding whether I have to register a teardrop, and I think I've found that I don't have to. But I just wanted to double-check here and see if anyone knows the rules or has links to websites or anything that can help me be sure I'm not going to get pulled over five minutes after I pick my teardrop up!

Thank you!

We registered our trailer, but we do not have to put plates on it. Oregon recognizes our trailer as a utility trailer because there is no permanent sleeping or cooking areas in there. This information came out of the DMV manual. We have been to Washington and California and not had any problems yet. We do keep the registration in the trailer just in case.
