Congratulations Tom!
:applause:
Looks like a sweet teardrop.
I’m getting anxious to go camping again too. We don’t have anything planned until May when we go over to San Juan Island County Park.
Hope to see you around

Thanks again for all the great encouragement. Momma is anxious to go so we are making preps..... Friday is dead for me, and my work often runs later rather then early, how do you feel about Sunday? Not sure what the weather has in store...?

:( Sorry guys the wife reminded me that I need to help move a piano from Lakewood to Seattle and 1 PM is right in the middle of it all. Nine AM or earlier would work for me or some other time. Danny

All ready to meet up tomorrow. Hope we keep the sun, maybe even a bit warmer?
Anyhow, anyone else plan on stopping by?

Hey Tom - I have your BROTHER!! (almost)

Postby Foxpaw49 » Mon Feb 20, 2006 12:30 pm

Thanks to Tom's enthusiasm for driveway camping - I now have ordered my teardrop from ED - lucky me...because Ed hadn't ordered the formica and side panels, I was able to customize it a bit - cherry wood sides, purple galley, brushed silver fenders - O WOW am I going to be COOL!

So How's THAT for a record - 8 days from RV show where I MET the Tab...to purchase - that's gotta be a RECORD yeah? Where would we be without the Internet tho - I spent about 40 hrs. writing, reading, asking questions so that I was able to know exactly what I wanted:
*Well built *Simple *Lightweight *local builder and I wanted it NOW NOW NOW!!!

Clear to me from the Forum that part of what I'm after is a community of "interesting people" - I can see it's not just about the rig!

So I'll gin up some pictures and do a formal intro....btw - where are all the women on this forum??

Hey Robin,

That teardrop bug can be BAD can't it?!

I knew as soon as I saw one on TV that I had to have one. (That RV Crazy show!) My hubby doesn't like to camp or travel, so a teardrop is perfect for me, without the hassles of a bigger travel trailer.

Anyway, welcome to the insanity!
