When: May 31 to June 2, 2024
Where: This campout is on the east side of Monument at an abandoned quarry about a mile down Jim Brown Bridge Road.
Direction: About 4 miles east of the little Idaho town of Richfield on the HWY 26/93 to Craters of the Moon. Heading east out of Righfield four miles from the LDS church and cemetery you turn right on Jim Brown Rd (GPS 40.4983, -112.0556) and in a very little bit cross abandoned rail road and then cross a river on a single lane bridge. Follow the gravel road for less than a mile and the quarry is on the southside of the road.
As always with these Mordor trips, this is boon docking at its best. If you did not bring it with you, you will have to make do.
I expect to be in camp around Friday afternoon.
