Second Annual Teardrop time gathering at Lake Perris SRA, 17801 Lake Perris Drive, Perris, CA, 92571. Prepare your teardrops and join us for a teardrop only gathering in Southern California. There will be a Pot Luck Dinner Saturday evening at 5:00. Camping fee is $20.00 per night, to be paid in advance by March 6, 2013 with registration form and $25.00 per night after March 6, 2013 with registration form. it is nice to see the early registrations coming in, thank you. we are up to 10 trailers and 6 more months to go.

What is the campground like for this event?

each site has a fire ring, table in the grassy area, water, and electric. the actual teardrop is parked on asphalt and there are trees throughout the campground. there are several restrooms with showers. we have the entire loop reserved in our circle. it works pretty well for what we need with so many teardrops.

It just wouldn't have been right for me to miss this years event ! S I've been cryin teardrops ever since I sold my teardrop to buy the "standie". Been campin with the standie ever since, but really , REALLY miss my teardrop. So I'm sellin the Eriba,Puck to finance a "build".

A special thanx to Tim and Doreen for invitin me to share their camp spot so I wouldn't miss out !

Sheriff Dead Eye had fun and was glad to see that everyone behaved themselves...

Ray and I would like to thank everyone for such a great weekend. The park indicated today they could hardly believe we had so many trailers there and they had no clean up to do. They said it was the cleanest the park has been after a gathering or even a weekend of camping.

Awesome perfect weather, great friends, and lots of fun! again thank you everyone for coming out and camping with us. See you all next year!

More memories and with 112 (or possibly more) trailers, this just continues to be the premier event in So Cal....sorry we didn't have a SoCal Tearjerker presence but maybe next year......

Don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but my highschool has an alumni website and this week someone posted about a place in our hometown of Hawthorne, CA, that rented teardrops back in the day. Imagine my surprise to find one at Perris this year. I neglected to get the lady owners name but did get a pic....it has indeed been confirmed as belonging to the Boyce Family. Larry Boyce of Cherry Valley has the last remaining trailer in his back yard but this was one of the fleet.....ain't history fun!

What I remember is that it was on Hawthorne Blvd, a few blocks South of Imperial Hwy and they rented 'KIT' teardrops. But it looks like he also rented other teardrops. Denny Unfried, a fellow member of this forum lived around the corner from there.
