I did find a trail map for Davis Creek, it does not really show the camp sites though.

Candi and I will have to bow out of this camp out.
Can't get away from work until late Friday because of training and 500+ miles one way would not be a lot of fun for a couple of nights camping.
Would have loved to seen a foamie up close........
Still hope to get a couple more trips before the snow flies.

Hello Wolfgang: Sorry you guys can't make it. I understand, it is an all day trek just to get here. You would be sleeping more than anything. Maybe you can make it next year, if this one is not a bust.

Update: Please bring cash with you during sign in at your arrival to the park. See one of us. $>

Remember it gets cold at night here, 50 to 60 degrees is what I think we will have. So bring a fall coat/jacket with you. :ilovecamp:

Looking forward to this. Will be a diverse group of trailers to check out. Tears, a foamie, standies and ??

We're thinking on a batch of my mole butt beans for the Friday night dog and burger thing, and Spanish rice for the Saturday Mexican fiesta dinner.

Is the Saturday morning group breakfast still on, if so what time? Or would it be better for everyone to do their own thing with everyone getting up at different times? We're open to either way.

What time can we come in on Thursday? Kat and I are planning on showing up early in the morning if allowed.

Hello Sam: Your very yummy baked beans will be welcome Friday as well as the Spanish rice for Saturday's Fiesta.
Who else is bringing items for the BBQ & Fiesta ??? Now is the time to chime in. We will be bringing nachos and Terry will be making Sangria for Saturday.

It was suggested by Debbie (nevadatear) to do a breakfast cook out. We were not thinking of this due to the fact that not everyone gets up at the same time. We will let everyone do there own thing in the mornings.

We thought about having sweet rolls and coffee or tea on Sunday morning that we will provide so you don't have to cook breakfast unless you want to.

It has been asked if the restrooms are near the group site. The answer is YES and there is cold running water there so you can wash your hands. They have pit toilets but they will do I guess. The showers are a bit of a walk, but not to far. The showers are coin operated, so be sure and bring a roll or two of quarters along. You can have a nice warm shower for as little as $1 or longer for $1.50 per person. The $1.50 shower is plenty long for me.

If you bring your dogs, be prepared to pay $1 per night per dog in the regular campground. I don't know if that will be charged in the group site, but be ready to pay if they charge you for your dogs.

The walk is on for Saturday morning between 9 and 10 depending on when everyone wants to go. You are on your own for this or go any time you want to. It is up to you. I hope this info helps.

 I did think of Fajitas, but didn't want to do it twice in a row after Twain and Tears. Besides, Rice is gluten free. (and easy.....)

Hey All, Looking forward to a week from today. I'll make a pot of chili for Friday nights BBQ and Pork Carnitas for the Saturday night Fiesta. The beer I brewed may not quite fit with the menu but I hope it's still good. Both these beers are first time recipes. I like my IPA but it could use more hops, The Kolsch is still in the fermenter until Sunday. It will carbonate between Sunday and Thursday. I may not get to taste it before we tap the keg at camp. SEE YOU THERE!!! 8) 8)

So, now I am wondering... is there room for one more at Davis Creek this weekend, now that half of the teardroppers have to park elsewhere? Checking out the map at Davis Creek now, if there is one on line. ~ Karen, of Fremont CA (Little Acorn)

Hello Karen: I'm pretty sure there will be room in the regular campground.
Come on up. We will see you there. Also, welcome to the forum. :)
