OK everyone, we are here now in the group site. When you get to the park, it is the first right past the overflow parking lot. Drive striaght back through the center of the park. There is a dip in the road.At the bottom of the dip, turn right into the group site. See you there.

I am having difficulty densing this message...So I hope it gets through.

I am heading south on #395 and will not return until Monday, so although the camp-out is only 11 miles from my house, I'll have to miss it...sigh

Smart pants. Raining most of today. Wind when not rainy. But the food and company is good!

We made it home. No snow on the road over Donner! The food was good and the company even better! A little rain makes for a better story! Awesome group of campers; can't wait to meet again! I'll post pics... Didn't take many but I'll post what I have! Thanks, Johnny and Terry...we'll done!

Thanks to Terry and Johnny from us also.

You did a superb job. Even if our Nevada weather tried to put a "damper" on things with wind...........clouds.............rain..............and hail....... :rainy:

But what the heck, what's a bit of moisture when we're with such a great bunch of folks?

Thanks again, we had a blast.

Gotta love that Nevada weather.... Not untypical for early fall in these parts. My wife and I had a great time despite the moisture. The variety of builds, the really great people, the food and the laughs made for a great weekend despite the weather. thanks to Johnny and Terri for a great job of putting on this gathering. Despite this being our first gathering, my wife and I were made to feel like part of the clan right away... And thanks for forgoing the "rites of initiation" I think the cold weather and cold temperatures had something to do with it. :worship: :worship: Thanks again and looking forward to the next one!!!

Thank you to Terry and John for the gathering so close to my house. Sorry I had to bail so early, but I was not prepared for the cold! It was beautiful the next day though and I wished I had stayed.
