Recipes that work best for teardroppers

New to DOs

Postby stbuch » Thu Aug 24, 2006 9:33 pm

I am a recent convert to DO cooking and I am absolutely hooked! We may never grill when camping again!
My first attempt was a beef chuck roast with the trimmings,
this is the before photo--

That worked great so on our next trip I made a pork tenderloin with pineapple tariyaki sauce. It was awesome!

I have a 12" and I want to get a smaller one so that I can cook the main dish and desert at the same time.

Let's eat!

Good grief, isnt it the weekend yet?
Maybe if I sleep in the camper the week
will pass faster

Hey! After all I did say it was a BEFORE photo! My husband ate it too fast to get the AFTER shot. :pictures:

Maybe next time...

That makes sense...
I must have my kids trained pretty darned good...

When we do stuff in the DOs now, right before we eat...
They'll ask me, "Aren't you gonna take a picture Dad?"

Welcome to castironitis!... May you eventually find your 5" Lodge!
