Julie,

Proof of what????? All I can see is Madjack with a knife(danger Will Robinson danger) cutting green onions

Though I would have to agree that recipes for all those items would be fantastic and much appreciated 8) 8)

I can trade for a drink recipe (Orange Julius)

Shrimp Etouffee

Postby CPASPARKS » Wed Nov 08, 2006 4:31 pm

Day-ng Julie...
I was thinking the same thing. That Etouffee was off the Hook!!!

I don't know about you guys...but we need to get together really really soon...

I met some of the best people and friendliest people EVER!!!

I was camped one spot over from Madjack's buddies...every night as the night progressed...the stories got wilder and the conversations got louder...

I laid in my TD with the door open and listened to their Bull$hit until my gut hurt...

If they done half the stuff they professed to have done in their life....they are lucky to be alive...

They were the last ones to go to bed...and the first ones to get up...

Made this Texan look like a whimp compared to those Louisiana boys...

I think they were instrumental in the Etouffee..

AMEN !!! I see on the map now, kinda where you are barely in Texas Kevin.... I'm already thinking of how and when we all might have a little Red River get together at Lake Murray or Lake of the Arbuckles, or whatever is on the Texas side...

SOON !!!

Look for Beavers Bend (far SE Oklahoma ) in the spring.....

Kevin...yes we are...I can safely say that we have not taken the easy road of life...but damn it has been fun and Kevin, what you heard doesn't even begin to really scratch the surface....next time, come join us...we have all had our shots...promise :D ;)

Julie, Kevin, et all,...the 'etoufee recipe is forthcoming...it was Joe's poor ol' gray headed mothers recipe and they have bought a new house and started moving in as soon as Joe got back from Bistineau...soon as I can, I will shake it loose from him...I could give it to ya but then it would feed 100+ people.....

Hey, we're up for that. Wouldn't a trip out to West Texas somewhere be nice? Just a thought.

And please, don't give MadJack a bigger knife...that just sends chills down my back.

Davel mentioned Lake Somerville at the LCG. I would be up for that anytime. Or Maybe my favorite. Lake Whitney.

Julie,

Nobody answered you with the recipies? Yall just got distracted.

I have one for the Taco Soup

5 cans of beans... any that you like
pinto
kidney
Lima
navy
....er...er I can not think of another bean right now :scratchthinking:

Anywho,

1 lb of hamburger
1 16 oz jar of salsa
1 pk of taco seasoning
sour cream
grated cheese

Brown meat, drain, add beans (juice and all) add taco seasoning pack and 1/2 jar of salsa. Add any spice ya like. Heat it all up and serve with the cheese and sour cream on top.
