Phoenix find

Postby DRYVEM » Mon Jan 29, 2007 10:40 pm

Martin, Ray and I visited Phoenix, Az this past weekend. One of the places Martin's sister took us was a St. Vincent DePaul store in Mesa. There we found this treasure. The store was having a sale where you rolled dice to determine your discount and Martin rolled 30% off. So the skillet and lid cost only $6.99. :woohoo:

These are virtually worthless I'll give you $13 for it right now, you would make a hundred percent profit I think thats a great deal. 8)

Barbara:

Seems you brought out the ironmongers.

Sure looks like a great find. Iron cooks so fine and that lid sure will be useful
and the seal looks like it will make it perfect for cooking.

Well, done Barbara, you bargain getter you ~

That would only be an 86% profit...

I think I will hold out for a better offer Matt. Take a look at this auction.

My ex-wife got the Mercedes and the Griswold cast iron collection in the divorce. Damn, I miss those pans.
